Summary: Jeremiah Johnson: Jeremiah is an American soldier who goes west to escape the Mexican War and becomes a mountain man. He is taken in by an old trapper who teaches him how to survive. After unavoidably violating an Indian burial ground, he loses his new Indian wife and their adopted child to vengeance. A vendetta between him and the Crows ruins his idyllic life as a fur trapper. -- The train robbers: Mrs. Lowe is a beautiful widow who wants to clear her family's name by finding and returning the gold her husband stole. Three cowboy buddies sign on to help her. But where there's gold, there's sure to be trouble. -- The wild bunch: After a botched robbery attempt in Texas, Pike Bishop and his gang head across the Rio Grande and into Mexico. They are pursued by bounty hunters hired to prevent the gang from robbing the rail depot. Bishop's gang extend their time in Mexico when they meet a Mexican general who wants them to rob a U.S. train carrying arms. -- McCabe & Mrs. Miller: John McCabe arrives in a young Pacific Northwest town to set up a whorehouse/tavern. Mrs. Miller, a professional madam, arrives soon after and offers to use her experience to help run the business, while sharing in the profits. The whorehouse thrives and mining deposits in the town attract a major corporation wants to buy out McCabe. He refuses, and his decision has major repercussions for Mrs. Miller, the town, and him.
